BSE supplies 18 x 2kW FM Transmitters to Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation |

Broadcast Solutions Electronics (BSE) has recently won a contract for the supply of 18 x 2kW FM Transmitters and associated equipment to Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) in Tanzania. The equipment is to be supplied via the main contractor on the project Tellumat (Pty) Ltd. The equipment will be supplied to 9 sites throughout Tanzania, which currently do not receive the two FM Radio programs
broadcast by Radio Tanzania. This is the 4th Project that BSE has entered into with TBC and has supplied over forty 2kW FM Transmitters to TBC alone. The equipment will be installed at temporary sites in the towns high sites can be established in the various regions.
The supply includes satellite receiving dishes and 20m pole type masts. The 2kW FM Transmitters supplied for this contract are the new BSE2K-E transmitters utilising two of the efficient AL4-1000L 1kW self contained RF amplifier combined to provide 2kW RF O/P.
